Requirements
  • A four-year college degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Construction/Project Management, Planning, Facilities Management, or a related area, or 11–14 years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree.
  • 7–10 years of project management and coordination experience in Move/Relocation Management, Project Management, Interior Design, Facilities Management, or Furniture, Fixture and Equipment coordination/procurement; 11–14 years is required in lieu of a four-year degree.
  • Ability to read architectural and furniture drawings.
  • Knowledge of furniture and equipment specifications and procurement.
  • Flexibility to work at any of the LACCD colleges and site locations.
  • Strong written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam software.
Responsibilities
  • Manage Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment selection, procurement, scheduling, installation, and move-in/relocation services for college projects.
  • Coordinate with Procurement using best-value or low-bid public contracting methods for Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment purchases.
  • Collaborate with CPD, architects, relocation managers, and user groups to define scope, budget, schedule, and Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment needs.
  • Assess and secure swing space, including developing scope for construction or Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment needs for temporary use.
  • Evaluate reuse potential of existing furniture and equipment with college and architect/engineer teams.
  • Develop and validate Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment budgets at project milestones and align them with the overall project budget.
  • Attend weekly project meetings to ensure accurate Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment layouts, specifications, and integration of new and reused items.
  • Review design documents to confirm coordination of infrastructure and utility needs for Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment functionality.
  • Work with the Technology Project Manager to plan, procure, and install information technology equipment such as computers, printers, and multifunction devices.
  • Oversee Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment and move budgets and schedules, including value engineering for cost control.
  • Schedule and manage Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment deliveries, installations, punch lists, and move-ins, including swing-space transitions.
  • Coordinate specialty vendors, asset tagging, surplus disposition, and key transfers for occupied spaces.
  • Maintain documentation and reporting for Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment, move management, and closeout activities, and submit regular updates to leadership.
  • Perform onsite client work, including day and night shift assignments.
Desired Qualifications
  • Educational and public works experience.
  • Procurement, Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment sourcing, or asset management experience.
  • Knowledge or proficiency in AutoCAD software.
  • Proficiency in Visio or design software.
  • Interior Design Certification CID or CCIDQ.
  • Membership with IIDA, AIA, or IFMA.
  • LEED certification.

Accenture drops LearnVantage focus, shifts $9B to cybersecurity and mid-market expansion

Accenture is shifting its growth strategy, de-emphasising LearnVantage, a learning and training business it built and promoted heavily in 2024. The company mentioned LearnVantage only once on its June 2026 earnings call, listing it amongst AI enablers rather than highlighting it as a standalone growth driver. Meanwhile, Accenture is redirecting resources toward cybersecurity, which has grown from $700 million in fiscal 2016 to $10 billion in fiscal 2025. The company is acquiring a majority stake in an operational technology security specialist, alongside two smaller firms, combining them into a platform for critical infrastructure. These assets generate $208 million in annual recurring revenue, growing at 48%. Accenture's acquisition budget for fiscal 2026 is approximately $9 billion against $73.1 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue. The company has also launched Accenture Edge, targeting mid-market companies. The stock is down 24.3% over the past year.

Accenture acquires Dutch SAP partner McCoy to boost mid-market AI and ERP capabilities

Accenture has agreed to acquire McCoy, a Dutch SAP transformation partner specialising in mid-market companies. Upon closing, McCoy will join Accenture Edge, the firm's mid-market business serving companies with annual revenues between $300 million and $3 billion. Founded in 2012, McCoy operates from the Netherlands with offices in Spain and the Philippines. The company employs over 380 professionals who design, implement and manage SAP solutions across ERP, data and business applications. McCoy holds SAP Gold Partner status and serves clients in high-tech, manufacturing, public sector, utilities and retail. The acquisition will strengthen Accenture Edge's position in the EMEA mid-market whilst expanding SAP modernisation capabilities in the Netherlands. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed.
