Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
  • 5+ years of relevant air quality consulting experience.
  • Strong understanding of air permitting, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage tasks, and supervise the work of others.
  • Excellent communication skills — both for technical writing and client interaction.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
  • Execute and oversee technical tasks such as emissions calculations, air permit applications, and compliance reporting.
  • Independently manage portions of larger projects, including task assignments, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff in the delivery of project tasks, reviewing work and providing feedback.
  • Serve as a day-to-day client contact for assigned tasks while keeping project managers informed.
  • Interpret and apply federal, state, and local air quality regulations (Texas experience preferred).
  • Contribute to proposal development and project scoping as needed.
