As a MongoDB Architect on our team, you’ll translate your customer’s IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting architecture products, design specifications, statements of work, requirements, and scripts. Through your leadership, we’ll help transform the way our client uses technology, including cloud migration, integrating advanced technology, and modernizing legacy systems. You Have: 

• 5+ years of experience in designing database architectures using MongoDB

• Experience with cloud-based database solutions

• Experience with developing web applications using MongoDB and JavaScript frameworks like Node.js and React

• Experience with Agile development methodologies

• Knowledge of MongoDB, including its features and functionality and limitations

• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in database architecture

• Knowledge of database design and optimization principles

• IRS Suitability

• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

• Possession of problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Possession of excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Master’s degree

Vetting:

Applicants selected must possess an active IRS Moderate Risk Background Investigation (IRS MBI) and meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client of an IRS MBI; IRS Suitability is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
