Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, Business, or equivalent preferred
- Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
- Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Experience with web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.)
- Experience with ticketing and tracking applications (Zendesk, JIRA, etc…) preferred
- Experience with SDLC methodologies preferred
- Experience with project management preferred
- Strong verbal and written communications
- Excellent time management and organization skills
Responsibilities
- Influence the product strategy and roadmap; maintain respective product delivery roadmap
- Gather, document and refine requirements for the product features; aggregate and enrich feature requests into viable requirements
- Translate product strategy and feature requests into detailed requirements and prototypes
- Research product market and interview SMEs to gather insights and draft product roadmap collateral with acquired data
- Draft and deliver Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) clearly articulating a focused definition of the target market, buyer/user profiles and any potential issues
- Draft and deliver Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) with prioritized features and corresponding justification to provide the level of detail needed for the research & development team to understand the capabilities, functionality, and features that are required to address the market needs identified in the MRD
- Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
- Help run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
- Be a subject matter expert with respect to competing product features
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for assigned product features
- Communicate details about product to areas of the organization such as Sales and Support
- Ensure proper/desirable operation of product
- Work closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met
- Ensure new products or enhancements to existing product offerings support the company's overall strategy and goals
