Requirements
  • Experience in Securities Quantitative Analytics, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Expertise in exotic foreign exchange derivatives models such as Stochastic Local Volatility and models for non-vanilla collateral support agreements.
  • Solid knowledge of financial mathematics, particularly stochastic calculus, arbitrage, hedging, partial differential equations, Monte Carlo, and other numerical methods.
  • Significant experience working as a front-office desk Quant for foreign exchange derivatives, ideally with exposure to exotic Rates derivatives and foreign exchange/interest-rate hybrids.
  • Hands-on experience with C++, Java, and Python.
  • A post-graduate qualification in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, or computer science.
  • Deep knowledge of foreign exchange markets and conventions, hedging practices, and calibration issues.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and comfort working on a trading floor.
  • Demonstrated experience with exchange-traded derivatives.
  • Experience participating in model deployment in systems.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects, solve problems, organize tasks, manage time, and set priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to design, implement, support, and deliver pricing and trading models and integrate them into Trading and Risk systems.
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, support, and deliver pricing and trading models and integrate them into Trading and Risk systems for the Macro-FX business.
  • Work closely with traders on short-term projects and with the Quant team on wider business projects.
  • Participate in the analysis, design, implementation, testing, and delivery of derivative pricing and trading models for foreign exchange and foreign exchange/interest-rate products.
  • Understand business needs and market conventions, interact with traders and management, and initiate solutions with clear verbal and written communication and documentation.
  • Perform financial model analysis and development using understanding of arbitrage, hedging, calibration, and stochastic processes.
  • Implement models in C++ and Java with sanity checking.
  • Participate in model deployment and support in trading systems.
  • Understand processes and workflows, recommend process improvements, resolve issues and requests, and solve problems independently.
  • Learn new systems, applications, processes, and techniques.
  • Participate in initiatives and deliverables within Securities Quantitative Analytics.
  • Contribute to large-scale departmental planning.
  • Build and generate systematic hedging strategies by combining mathematical programming and market expertise.
  • Review and analyze business, operational, and technical challenges within Securities Quantitative Analytics.
  • Use quantitative and technological techniques to solve complex business problems.
  • Research trading-cost models, liquidity models, risk models, portfolio-construction methodology, and signal generation.
  • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Help with projects and teams and mentor less experienced staff.

  • Demonstrated experience in successfully collaborating with others in a change-driven environment.
  • Curiosity to keep up with market practices and recent developments on pricing and regulatory fronts.
  • Good intuition for models and model results.
  • Strong interest in financial markets and willingness to provide practical solutions for a trading desk.
  • Experience using artificial intelligence coding tools.
  • Experience in Rates or FX/IR hybrid derivatives is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Rates markets is a plus.
  • Ideally, a PhD.

Wells Fargo appoints Anthony Giuliano as head of beauty and wellness investment banking

Wells Fargo has appointed Anthony Giuliano as managing director and head of beauty and wellness in consumer and retail investment banking. Giuliano joins from Perella Weinberg, where he served as partner, and previously held investment banking positions at Nomura and Barclays. He will report to Vik Bhardwaj, head of consumer and retail investment banking at Wells Fargo. MasTec prices $650M senior notes offering at 5.850% to refinance term loan

MasTec has priced a public offering of $650 million in senior notes due 2036. The notes will carry a 5.850% interest rate, payable semi-annually, and were priced at 99.656%. They will mature on 30 September 2036. The company intends to use the net proceeds primarily to repay some or all of its $600 million term loan, which matures on 26 June 2028, and to cover related fees and expenses. Any remaining proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, potentially including repayment of existing debt under its senior unsecured credit facility. The offering is expected to close on 17 August 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. PNC Capital Markets, Truist Securities, Wells Fargo Securities, BofA Securities and J.P. Morgan Securities are serving as joint book-running managers.
