Simpplr named a Leader in analyst evaluation of Intranet Platforms, Q2 2026.

Simpplr named a Leader in analyst evaluation of Intranet Platforms, Q2 2026. Apr 09, 2026, 10:02 ET The AI-powered intranet built to unify the digital workplace was named a Leader among top vendors in the market REDWOOD CITY, Calif., April 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Simpplr today announced it has been named a Leader in The Forrester Wave(TM): Intranet Platforms, Q2 2026. Forrester evaluated the 13 most significant intranet platform vendors across 28 criteria. Simpplr received the highest possible scores - 5 out of 5 - in 14 criteria, including AI-enabled search, application integration: enterprise applications, application integration: productivity applications, internal communications, governance, reporting and analytics, employee listening, and innovation. For Simpplr, the result reflects what the company has been building toward: an AI-powered platform that has outpaced what the intranet market typically delivers. It unifies enterprise knowledge, personalized communications, cross-system workflows, employee engagement, listening, and recognition into a single intelligent system. "The intranet market is at an inflection point. Organizations aren't asking if they need an intranet anymore. They're asking why it doesn't do more," said Dhiraj Sharma, founder and CEO of Simpplr. "The future isn't static content or disconnected tools. It's an experience that brings together knowledge, workflows, and connection in a way that helps people get work done, with AI making that experience even more intuitive and responsive. That's what we've built with Simpplr. It's the digital workplace where employees can find what they need, take action, and move faster without friction. We believe this is where the market is going, and we see this recognition from Forrester as a reflection of that shift." What Forrester evaluated Forrester's Wave methodology evaluates vendors across two dimensions, Current Offering and Strategy. The areas where Simpplr received the highest possible score include: * AI-enabled search and metadata: Simpplr's hybrid semantic architecture understands intent and organizational context, prioritizing permission-aware answers from across 50+ connected systems. Employees get precise answers and can complete HR and IT tasks without leaving the platform. * Application integration: enterprise applications and application integration: productivity applications: Out-of-the-box integrations with HRIS, ITSM, Microsoft 365, Slack, and more bring read/write actions from critical enterprise tools into a single, personalized dashboard. * Internal communications: Advanced campaign orchestration tools let communications teams plan, execute, and measure targeted, multichannel programs. * Governance: Simpplr's Auto-Governance Engine continuously monitors the platform, flagging stale content and triggering review workflows so employees interact only with accurate, up-to-date information. * Reporting and analytics: Deep, segmentable usage analytics give IT and executive leadership actionable visibility into platform adoption, content engagement, and employee sentiment trends. * Innovation and adoption strategy: Simpplr has an aggressive R&D investment in AI agents, workflow orchestration, and extended search connectivity. Its adoption methodology gives customers a prescriptive framework for sustained platform value. Taken together, Simpplr believes these scores reflect more than feature parity. Organizations are increasingly evaluating intranets on whether they can reduce the friction that slows people down - fragmented tools, buried information, and workflows that require employees to know where to look before they can get anything done. Simpplr's platform is built around eliminating that friction. Simpplr delivers Internal Comms AI Assistant

Simpplr delivers internal Comms AI assistant. Simpplr has announced the launch of Comms AI, an AI-native workspace built to support internal communication teams. The Institute of Internal Communications defines Internal Communications as "the art and science of enabling people at work to feel informed, connected and purposeful in order to drive organisational performance." Challenges facing internal comms teams include an inability to connect to employees, information overload, accurate measurement, and disconnected management systems. Marketing tools are often expensive and are not designed for internal teams. According to Gallagher's State of the Sector 2024 report, 56% of comms teams still struggle to measure the impact of their internal communications in any meaningful way. Simpplr argues that the team spend too much time planning, tracking, chasing approvals and managing different versions of content. It is this management layer that often provides a barrier to effective internal comms. Carolyn Clark, VP, Communications and EX Strategy at Simpplr, commented, "The hardest part of comms isn't writing. It's the invisible coordination work that drains time, focus and credibility. Comms AI takes that burden off teams without taking away their voice." Comms AI aims to remove the barrier with an AI assistant. It can help with campaign planning, creation, approvals, multi-channel delivery, and the measurement of those campaigns. It achieves this from a single AI-powered workspace. This is a huge step forward in efficiency for teams that have relied on spreadsheets and many other tools to manage their daily work. It frees up teams from manual management tasks. That enables them to focus on strategic analysis, subsequent decisions, and ensuring that internal communications are delivered. What is Comms AI? Dhiraj Sharma, CEO and founder of Simpplr, neatly sums up the problem statement that Comms AI aims to solve. He said, "Internal communicators are being asked to operate like a media company with very little budget or headcount support. Comms AI runs the operational layer so IC teams can focus on the work only humans can do." Comms AI provides a single source of truth for internal communications teams. It provides a management layer that tracks, automates and manages the multitude of internal communications actions that teams often need to consider and execute. It provides expert assistance and guidance from the beginning to the end of a communications plan. Powered by AI, it assists users through an intuitive user interface that supports natural language at the relevant stages. Planning. Users can upload a form or enter an outline of an idea that describes the campaign goals. Comms AI then generates a suggested timeline that maps activities to audiences across multiple channels. Users can then edit and add to that timeline to further improve it before execution. Creation. Internal comms teams are expert writers. However, writing takes time, especially when multiple channels and voices are required for internal messaging. Comms AI supports teams with the ability to apply different writing styles to content. It allows them to set the tone for a CEO or for messages across Slack or email. It also includes templates that users can reuse to reduce the time needed to create new campaigns. It can create a 1,200-word article or a 200-word Slack post, appropriately worded as if written by the CEO or an HR policy. Management. The platform helps manage campaigns, one-off messages, and ad hoc announcements in a single location. It ensures that reviews are undertaken at the right time, statuses are tracked, sign-offs are logged, and feedback is collated in a single location for review. Users can track versions and ownership of messages, ensuring they understand who said what to whom and when. In addition, users can track multiple campaigns and see whether multiple announcements are going out at the same time. Additionally, they can take action to prevent employees from missing key messages. It enhances visibility across the whole of internal comms, enabling teams to track initiatives against the business strategy and demonstrate their impact. Little, however, is noted about the metrics available within Comms AI. In the Comms AI documentation, it doesn't give much information on how to track email open rates, though feedback is collated centrally. Distribution. The platform helps automate the distribution of messages across different platforms, including the intranet, email, Slack and Teams. Comms AI assists users in crafting appropriate messaging for each channel and ensuring it is delivered at the right time for larger campaigns. All this happens from a single platform, without needing to switch between different applications. Overall, Comms AI helps the internal comms team structure their work better, with appropriate guardrails and permissions to prevent messages from reaching the wrong people. Intranet centric. Intranets are the common information platform shared across an organisation. While it may not be the favourite channel for every employee, Comms AI understand the content and is embedded within the platform. It therefore benefits from the information intrinsically available on the platform. It also understands who people are, their roles and interests. That means that messages can be disseminated in context and posted onto the most appropriate and active channels. This is a significant advantage over other tools, as it helps with message context and communication orchestration. It differs from tools like ChatGPT. It might understand the context (if it has access to the data), but it does little to help with orchestration. Using Comms AI, internal communications teams will be able to manage multiple, complex campaigns and reduce the risk of overlap or conflict. This ensures the right messages reach the right people at the right time without confusing or overloading employees. Simpplr concludes, "Comms AI removes the coordination tax that has shaped IC work. As demands grow and resources stay flat, IC teams can plan, execute and deliver with clarity - without sacrificing quality or control." Internal Communications leaders, whether Simpplr clients or not, can request a demo here. Enterprise Times: what does this mean. Simpplr claims that Comms AI is the first AI-native workspace built for internal communications teams. However, there are other tools already on the market that do similar things. Where Simpplr stands out, however, is that it is built on the intranet technology employees already use for communication, and they already have much of the relevant information available. Many of the other solutions on the market are built around HRIS platforms, which approach HR from a different angle entirely and are HR-centric rather than marketing-centric. This appears to be a comprehensive orchestration platform for internal communications teams. What seems to be missing is the measurement tools available on the platform. Enterprise Times asked Simpplr about this. While users cannot view analytics directly in Comms AI, they are available within the wider Simpplr platform. Comms AI is in beta and is being rolled out to customers under that program. The solution will be generally available with the March release. There will be a robust roadmap for improvements, often based on customer feedback, and it will be interesting to see if metrics nd reporting capabilities are surfaced in Comms AI in the future.

Simpplr launches Comms AI to automate internal communications coordination work

Simpplr has launched Comms AI, an AI-powered workspace designed to reduce administrative burden for internal communications teams. The platform consolidates campaign planning, content creation, approvals and multichannel delivery into a single system. Internal communicators typically work across fragmented tools, with planning in spreadsheets, drafting in documents and approvals managed through email threads. Comms AI aims to eliminate this operational friction by automating coordination tasks whilst maintaining human control over strategic decisions. The system generates structured communications plans from campaign goals or rough notes, suggesting audiences, selecting channels and setting timelines. It also provides risk assessments and mitigation strategies. Founded by Dhiraj Sharma, Simpplr developed the tool to address what it identifies as a resource gap, with internal communications teams expected to operate like media companies with limited budget and headcount support.

Simpplr named a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Intranet Packaged Solutions for the third year in a row. Simpplr believes this recognition reflects our ability to deliver unified employee experiences that drive engagement and productivity REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Oct. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ - Simpplr, the leading AI platform for employee experience and productivity, today announced that Gartner has positioned Simpplr as a Leader in the 2025 Gartner(R) Magic Quadrant(TM) for Intranet Packaged Solutions. This marks three years in a row that Simpplr has been named a Leader among 15 other intranet packaged solutions providers. "We believe that being recognized as a Leader for the third straight year validates our commitment to reimagining the employee experience through innovation, customer focus, and trusted AI," said Dhiraj Sharma, CEO of Simpplr. "We're relentlessly focused on building technology that fundamentally changes how work gets done. Gartner evaluated IPS vendors based on their ability to support six critical intranet use cases, including employee engagement, knowledge services, and intelligent assistance. Simpplr believes its recognition as a Leader stems from the company's focus on improving work productivity through AI, orchestration and integrations that simplify coordination and streamline workflows. The company's app tiles technology provides extensibility through custom dashboard widgets that surface live data from other enterprise systems. This enables employees to access and interact with third-party applications directly within the intranet. Simpplr also credits its AI governance approach, which prioritizes transparency and safety using enterprise-grade safeguards. The company points to its dedication to customer success and ability to support effective work management through integrated collaboration and messaging, particularly for organizations with frontline staff.
