The dynamic administrative support team at Marcus & Millichap, Los Angeles is seeking a new team leader to join our innovative, collaborative team at our Century City location. We’re seeking a personable, professional individual who will not only serve as direct supervisor of the admin staff team, but importantly, who desires a stable, professional office environment providing growth and challenge. Ideal candidates for this role are passionate about providing top customer service, always looking for ways to improve self and team, and making a difference in the office’s overall success. This is a highly collaborative role requiring work alongside other Operations Managers in the SoCal/Southwest region, as well as firmwide. Our Operations ‘community’ currently covers ~80 offices across North America.
This is a full-time, exempt (salaried), bonus-eligible, in-office position – not remote or work from home.

The role’s major focuses:
~35% ‐ Brokerage/Transactional/Accounting
~30% ‐ Human Resources/Staff Management
~30% ‐ Administrative
~5% ‐ Event Planning
Some of the interesting things you’ll be doing:
- Collaborating with other Operations Managers in your geographic area to deliver first class support including:
- New agent and employee onboarding, timesheet approval, HR compliance and personnel file management
- Commercial Real Estate Transaction management including digital record keeping and proper file documentation
- Manage administrative staff team to ensure quality work product with fastest turnaround times to the sales force; focus on ways to innovate, improve processes, and establish best practices
- Support of Regional Manager initiatives, expense reports, plus planning and execution of special projects Accounts payable through an SAP system and booking agent commissions using our in-house software
- Facilities management including equipment, network drives, seating, office maintenance and supply vendors, etc.
- Events planning and management which may include summer parties, holiday parties, recruiting events and other various local events including local community/charitable efforts
