Medicare Quality Performance Internship - Summer 2023
Job Description:
A Medicare Quality Performance Intern will be responsible for learning managed Medicare principles including CMS star quality metrics, alternative payment models, value-based medicine contracting, and clinical cost of care management. This role will encompass creation, testing, and presenting of a “capstone” project throughout the internship period.

Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the summer internship program
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field at an accredited college/university
- Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and a quick learner as Training and Licensing will be provided.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.
- Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills
- Excellent Public Speaking and Presentation skills
