  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two years of general clerical or administrative experience, or equivalent post-secondary education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
  • Skill in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Skill in written and verbal communication to convey information effectively.
  • Skill in providing exemplary customer service.
  • Skill in preparing statistical reports.
  • Ability to learn Court policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain compliance with department and agency standards regarding record confidentiality.
  • Work closely with Commissioner Division Staff and Judicial Officers.
  • Process petitions for complex and highly confidential Juvenile case types.
  • Provide customer support to internal and external customers in person at a high-level information desk, by email, and over the phone.
  • Travel between the Durango and Mesa courthouses as needed.
  • Process fingerprint submittals.
  • Assist with National Adoption Day.
  • Create and distribute the Juvenile Detained Calendar.
  • Review and complete case reassignment requests.
  • Process petitions from the Petition Filed List received from the County Attorney.
  • Assist in training new and existing staff on department policies and procedures.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, mailing, and data entry.
  • Distribute mail and copies to division mailboxes.
  • Assist with projects assigned by the lead or supervisor.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
