Requirements
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, finance, accounting, or management; or a degree in a closely related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an accounting or a financial environment.
  • Must possess strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Responsibilities
  • Assists with all functions related to administration of the Unclaimed Property Division program as assigned.
  • Assists with the daily work in the administrative function of the division; augments customer service staffing as required.
  • Under supervision, may assist in the interpretation of program policies, rules, procedures, relevant laws, and applicable guidelines affecting daily operations.
  • Research’s/reviews claims, handles concerns of claimants in a timely manner.
  • Performs reconciliations, reviews receipts, and reports.
  • Serves as program representative for promotional broadcasts and photo-ops when required.
  • May attend NAUPA and NAST conferences on behalf of OST as required.
  • Ensures the accuracy of reports and claims as assigned.
  • Assists the UP Administrative Programs Specialist with safe deposit inventories and auction preparations as required.
  • Analyzes and reviews documentation as assigned by the UP Operations Manager.

  • Applicants with previous roles in a public program administration or in a team leader capacity are a plus and will be given additional consideration.
