Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Database Developer to join our team in the DMV area.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

Designs, develops, supports, and maintains database systems including working with hardware, software, and network components
Designs database systems to meet customer needs, developing effective database systems according to specifications, testing databases, fixing errors and bugs, troubleshooting potential issues, and creating and submitting test reports and database improvements
Develops database documentation and provides users with operational manuals and supporting documentation, including information on changes
Collaborate with the Development Team to integrate and test code
Provides supervision and mentorship to subordinate project and staff members. Collaborate with other Database Developer IIIs

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in IT discipline
Five or more (5+) years of related experience
If a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are required
If a candidate holds an Associates degree rather than a Bachelors degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required
Hold one of the following certifications within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Software Development
4 years of experience in an Agile development environment

Clearance Requirements: 

This position requires an active secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

The projected compensation range for this position is $134,700-$224,700. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
