Meesho operates in the Indian e-commerce sector with a focus on a reselling business model. The platform allows individuals, known as resellers, to explore a variety of products and share them on social media platforms like Facebook and WhatsApp. Resellers earn a profit margin on each sale they make, making it an attractive option for those wanting to start an online business without needing any initial investment or technical skills. Meesho primarily serves individuals such as homemakers, students, and small business owners who are looking to earn money online. The company sources products from suppliers and provides them on its platform, where resellers can promote these items to their networks. Meesho generates revenue by taking a commission from the sales made through its platform.
