About the Role
As Data Partnerships Lead, you are responsible for growing and developing partnerships with key BJSS data partners (primarily Databricks, Snowflake and Google Cloud). You will act as the key conduit between BJSS and the partners, driving relationships, opportunity development and commercial performance. More specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Strategy development: Development of the partner strategies and execution of the plans, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to be able to do this effectively
- Relationship building: Ensuring sufficient and effective stakeholder engagement in the relevant areas within the partner organisation in order to achieve agreed objectives
- Partner commercial performance: You will be responsible for growing partner revenue and margin within BJSS and working closely with colleagues to develop partner-related opportunities
- Driving collaboration: Working with BJSS account teams to foster strong partner relationships and drive co-selling
- Marketing & events: Development of the partner marketing plan alongside our marketing team, to include marketing activity such as joint events, development of case studies and specific campaigns
- Capability development: Working closely with our delivery functions to ensure partner-relevant capabilities are being continuously developed and that we have the resource and skills in place to deliver projects
- Sales enablement: Working closely with our sales teams to ensure they arewell equipped to position partner solutions to BJSS customers
- Driving internal awareness: Being the champion for the partner within BJSS – shouting about our successes and driving positive PR across the business
About You
- Experience of working in a partner management type role, either within a partner organisation or for a consultancy (experience of working with data and/or cloud partners is a key bonus)
- Experience of working in a business development environment, with clear evidence of where partner business has been developed and grown over time
- Skilled at influencing others, both internally and externally; driving consensus across cross-functional teams to achieve mutually supported goals
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both partners and internal stakeholders
- An excellent collaborator, who enjoys working with a wide variety of people
- Commercially focussed, with strong data-driven and strategic mindset
- Self-starting and action-oriented in nature, with the ability to work well both individually and as part of a team
- Expert ability to build and maintain a diverse network of contacts and partner relationships
