Job Summary:

Meritain is one of the largest TPAs in the country providing healthcare insurance products to thousands of clients; in this role you will potentially interact and work with every process and department within the company. A Senior Project Program Manager plans, monitors and manages internal projects from initiation through completion. Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes. Manages projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.

What you will do in this role:

With an emphasis and expectation of thought leadership, strategy development as well as execution, you will represent Core Operations in designing and / or improving upon cross-functional solutions to address business needs; this work often results in initiatives that significantly impact the organization strategically, such as researching, vetting, and managing implementation of a replacement for HDMS. Using your project management experience and acumen, you will administer necessary processes for researching, analyzing, and compiling data and information for necessary executive reports and / or presentations. Field internal and external inquiries, finding resolutions, or redirecting as appropriate. Collaborate internally and externally regarding Core Operations goals and objectives; partnering with business owners to optimize the achievement of set business objectives, including profitable growth as well as improved organizational effectiveness.

This role will work on a variety of enterprise projects and will have the ability to work with vendor/s and have an understanding of reporting analytics and consumable data information.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 7+ years’ work experience in project or program management, product management, and/or operations.

• Health plan, TPA, or health system experience.

• High level problem solving and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities

• Adept at growth mindset skills (agility and developing yourself and others)

• Adept at execution and delivery skills (planning, delivering, and supporting)

• Strong business and strategic intelligence

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP Certification

• Technical aptitude

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$75,400.00 - $182,549.40

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
