Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree and three years of relevant program experience are required.
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business administration, higher education administration, or a related field and five years of progressively responsible leadership experience in marketing, communications, enrollment management, or strategic recruitment is required; alternatively, a master's degree and three years of related leadership experience is required.
  • Experience leading integrated marketing and enrollment strategies in a complex organization is preferred.
  • Experience managing high-performing teams, driving organizational growth initiatives, and using data analytics to support strategic decision-making is preferred.
  • Higher education, healthcare, or academic health center experience is preferred.
  • The employee must be able to perform the listed physical functions, including working in upright, seated, walking/mobile, indoor, outdoor, confined, kneeling, squatting, pinching, reaching, and repetitive-motion positions as applicable.
  • The employee must be able to fully use both hands and arms, maintain tactile sensory functions, possess good finger dexterity, maintain corrected 20/40 vision and hearing acuity, recognize objects at close and distant ranges, discriminate colors, determine depth perception, and maintain peripheral vision.
  • The employee must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 15 pounds without assistance.
  • The employee must be able to work in dusty areas.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute integrated, data-informed marketing, communications, digital engagement, and enrollment growth strategies across undergraduate, graduate, online, and professional programs.
  • Lead teams responsible for recruitment, marketing, communications, digital strategy, and creative services.
  • Use market intelligence, enrollment analytics, and competitive positioning to guide decision-making and support sustainable growth.
  • Lead strategic marketing, communications, and enrollment initiatives that advance the College's mission and reputation.
  • Develop integrated campaigns to increase awareness, engagement, and enrollment across academic programs and target audiences.
  • Provide leadership in market positioning, audience segmentation, competitive analysis, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Use enrollment trends, workforce data, and market research to identify program expansion and recruitment optimization opportunities.
  • Align marketing and recruitment strategies with institutional priorities in partnership with College and University leadership.
  • Oversee departmental planning, resource allocation, budget management, and performance metrics.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across academic divisions and administrative units.
  • Provide strategic oversight for the digital ecosystem, including website strategy, user experience, search engine optimization, paid digital advertising, social media, email marketing, and emerging digital engagement platforms.
  • Oversee website architecture, content strategy, and digital storytelling initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent brand identity and messaging across digital and print platforms.
  • Lead and mentor the marketing and communications team responsible for website management, creative services, graphic design, photography, and social media operations.
  • Implement industry best practices and performance standards.
  • Provide strategic leadership for recruitment operations and enrollment initiatives across all academic programs.
  • Develop and implement data-driven recruitment strategies to support enrollment growth goals.
  • Analyze enrollment trends, applicant behavior, yield data, and market demand to inform recruitment planning and improve conversion outcomes.
  • Oversee recruitment communication plans and outreach strategies tailored to programs and target audiences.
  • Guide customer relationship management strategy and recruitment technology utilization to improve prospective student engagement, communication workflows, and enrollment pipeline management.
  • Represent the College in high-level recruitment and partnership initiatives as needed.
  • Supervise recruitment leadership staff and cultivate a high-performing recruitment culture focused on student experience and enrollment success.
  • Lead strategic communications and public information efforts to enhance institutional visibility, reputation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop long-range communication strategies supporting academic excellence, research prominence, alumni engagement, and workforce impact.
  • Oversee marketing and communication materials, media relations, digital content, news releases, feature stories, promotional campaigns, and executive messaging.
  • Collaborate with advancement and alumni relations leadership on development communications, donor engagement, and alumni storytelling.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and participant on College and University committees related to marketing, communications, enrollment, branding, and strategic growth.
  • Build partnerships across academic and administrative units.
  • Ensure compliance with University brand standards, communication policies, accessibility standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Promote innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the department.
