  • B.S. (M.S. desired) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in design, development, and certification of power converters
  • Previous design experience in power converters from 250 - 1,000 kW and 1,000 to 1,500 VDC
  • Experience designing enclosures and thermal management for power conversion systems (250 to 1,000 kW)
Responsibilities
  • Designing and developing power conversions systems (250 to 1,000 kW) for electric aviation charging systems
  • 3D CAD layout of power conversion systems and design for manufacturing
  • Designing enclosure, component design, and cooling components for converter design
  • Evaluating thermal management systems and recommending solutions for power conversion systems
  • Collaborating with industrial design team and aircraft team on power electronics needs for aircraft charging
  • Participating in industry working groups on electric aircraft charging standards
