Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Hold a current, active Pharmacy license granted by the State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Have at least one year of experience in sterile intravenous admixture procedures, knowledge of non-sterile compounding, immunizations and medication therapy management, completion of an ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency Program, completion of an Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience associated with an accredited school of pharmacy, or equivalent experience approved by pharmacy leadership.
  • Have experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting service quality standards and evaluating customer satisfaction.
  • Have basic-level proficiency in Microsoft Word.
  • Have basic-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Have basic-level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Be willing to travel up to 5% of the time for business purposes within the state.
Responsibilities
  • Determine individual patients' suitability for home care by collecting and organizing patient-specific information and assessing medical condition, prescribed medication therapy, prognosis, and outcome goals.
  • Design, recommend, monitor, and evaluate patient-specific pharmacy care plans for home-care pharmacotherapy, including recommending modifications to medication therapy or monitoring parameters when appropriate.
  • Collect and organize patient-specific information to prevent, detect, and resolve medication-related problems, identify monitoring parameters, and complete nutritional assessments with appropriate recommendations.
  • Modify pharmacy care plans based on monitoring data and other pertinent patient-specific information, using pharmacokinetic principles and formulas and assessing patient laboratory values.
  • Provide medication-use education and counseling to staff, healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers.
  • Ensure continuity of pharmaceutical care between home and other patient-care settings by communicating pertinent patient information systematically.
  • Prepare and dispense medications using appropriate techniques; calibrate equipment; ensure appropriate concentration, compatibility, stability, storage, labeling, ancillary labels, final inspection, and authorization to dispense.
  • Comply with state and federal laws, United States Pharmacopeia standards, Drug Enforcement Administration controlled-substance regulations, and inventory policies for Schedule II narcotics, controlled substances, and diversion-sensitive medications.
  • Manage, maintain, troubleshoot, program, and advise others on medication-administration and medication-related equipment used in home care.
  • Assess, manage, and report medication-related incidents and equipment errors or failures, complete quality assurance reporting documents, and monitor and report inventory discrepancies.
  • Respond to drug-information requests from healthcare providers and home-care patients using analysis of the literature.
  • Attend educational seminars or participate in continuing education opportunities to maintain professional competency and comply with state continuing-education requirements.
  • Manage investigational drug products according to applicable regulations and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Effectively utilize pharmacy support personnel, prioritize workload, organize workflow, and ensure the accuracy of support personnel's work.
  • Comply with accreditation, legal, regulatory, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Option Care Health Q2 beats expectations with $1.4B revenue, narrows full-year guidance

Option Care Health reported second-quarter 2026 results that exceeded expectations. Revenue rose 7% sequentially to $1.4 billion, whilst adjusted EBITDA increased 12% to $117.5 million and adjusted EPS reached $0.45. Operating cash flow totalled $184 million. Acute therapies posted high-single-digit organic growth, while chronic revenue improved sequentially as the CID portfolio began to stabilise. However, CID-related pressure is expected to reduce 2026 revenue by roughly 600 basis points and gross profit by $55 million. The home and alternate-site infusion provider maintained its full-year revenue guidance at $5.675 billion to $5.775 billion. Adjusted EBITDA guidance was narrowed to $480 million to $495 million, and adjusted EPS guidance to $1.85 to $1.92. The company repurchased $150 million of shares, nearly 5% of shares outstanding.

For full year 2026, Option Care Health expects net revenue between $5.68 billion and $5.78 billion, with adjusted diluted earnings per share of $1.85 to $1.92. Option Care Health has appointed Robert Okunski as Vice President of Investor Relations, effective 26 May 2026. He will lead the company's investor relations strategy and serve as primary liaison with the investment community. Option Care Health posts weakest Q1 among home health stocks, shares drop 27%

Option Care Health, the largest independent provider of home infusion services in the US, reported Q1 revenues of $1.35 billion, up 1.3% year on year but missing analyst expectations by 3.3%. The company operates 177 locations across 43 states with over 4,500 clinicians. Chief executive John Rademacher acknowledged the "mixed performance" and expressed dissatisfaction with revenue growth momentum. Full-year guidance also fell short of analyst expectations. Across the senior health, home health and hospice sector, seven tracked companies reported a satisfactory Q1, with revenues beating consensus estimates by 0.9% on average. However, Option Care Health posted the weakest performance against analyst estimates despite raising full-year guidance. The stock has fallen 27.1% since reporting, currently trading at $21.59.
