  • 15+ years of relevant experience with a B.S, M.S or Ph.D (CS, CSE or equivalent skills & knowledge)
  • 2+ years of experience setting technical strategy and direction
  • Strong background in building highly scalable, supportable and operable cloud-native SaaS applications
  • Strong domain knowledge of x509 and PKI is a plus
  • Strong experience with Java, Go, JavaScript, and React
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering leadership to set and achieve long-term, strategic architecture, and handle orders of magnitude growth in capabilities and scale.
  • Actively participate in the planning and delivery of product features and improvements, continuous exploration process, architecture runway, system level architecture, and the definition of sub-systems and their interactions.
  • Explore new technologies, patterns, frameworks, tools and services to deliver on our business needs.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and UX to align the architecture runway with the product strategy and goals.
  • Collaborate with engineering leaders, architects and teams to define guidelines on languages, frameworks, services, platforms, tools and pipelines to use.
  • Collaborate on feature design and implementation with development teams.
  • Mentor team members.
