GreyLion Partners invests in industrial brush maker Tanis Brush to fuel growth

GreyLion Partners, a US private equity firm, has announced a strategic investment in Tanis Brush, a manufacturer of industrial and abrasive brushes. Financial terms were not disclosed. Tanis Brush has manufactured custom-engineered and stock industrial brushes for nearly 40 years, serving sectors including medical, data centres, food and beverage, automotive, aerospace and construction. The investment marks the company's first institutional partnership and will support system enhancements, market expansion and potential acquisitions. Nick Mallinger, president and CEO of Tanis Brush, said GreyLion's industry expertise and track record in manufacturing businesses were key factors in the partnership. The company will continue operating from its Delafield, Wisconsin headquarters under current management. GreyLion manages private equity funds with approximately $2 billion in commitments.
