Kepler is seeking a dynamic and data-driven Manager of Data Strategy & Analytics for Healthcare to spearhead our initiatives across multiple Fortune 500 healthcare brands. This role requires a leader with a deep understanding of the paid media ecosystem, exceptional data acumen, and the ability to translate complex insights into strategic opportunities. The successful candidate will help lead a small team, driving innovation and excellence in data analytics to enhance media program optimization for drug brands and deliver actionable business intelligence for our clients. The Manager will have the opportunity to develop relationships with clients and agency partners, in addition to providing guidance to their team as they provide critical data visualization, measurement and analytical support to clients.
The Manager, Data Strategy & Analytics Manager (Pharma Account) plays a critical role in ensuring client and company success, leading client engagements and overseeing a team of Analysts and Senior Analysts responsible for measuring digital campaign performance and developing deep insights to drive performance. This is a hybrid role – the Manager will have the opportunity to develop deep relationships with clients and agency partners, in addition to providing strategic guidance to their team as they provide critical data visualization, measurement and analytical support to clients.
The position requires strong interest and/or experience with client management, experience leading and developing a team, strong quantitative aptitude, business acumen to understand and advance client marketing goals, detail orientation, and a desire to lead a tightly-knit team that’s out to change the industry.
What You Will Do:

- Manage a team of 2-4 Analysts and Senior Analysts responsible for interpreting marketing performance data and crafting a holistic and succinct cross-channel performance story with actionable insights
- Be the primary point of contact for the client, who can help guide their thinking about complex challenges and can translate ambiguous or implicit needs into plans of action for the team. Proactively build relationships with clients and cultivate an understanding of key business questions and success drivers
- Have ultimate ownership over the team’s delivery of monthly/quarterly performance reports and ad hoc analyses to client stakeholders using dashboards and decks. Lead the team in developing the “performance story” and ensure insights crisply convey the “why” and “so what/what’s next” behind performance trends.
- Manage and optimize collaboration processes with agency partners to develop monthly/quarterly performance reports. Develop the project plan, oversee the team in execution to plan, and help to navigate setbacks and unforeseen challenges creatively.
- Help the team improve its efficiency and effectiveness over time - through automation, process improvement, strategic oversight.
Desired Skills and Experience:
As this is a hybrid role, there is a range of “ideal” candidates, but all should possess some combination of client service, team leadership, data storytelling, and analytical/quantitative skills All candidates should possess many of the following skills/experiences:
- 3-5+ years of experience in paid media/marketing analytics, performance marketing, digital media buying, ad tech, client management, consulting, and/or pharmaceutical fields.
- Strong background in data analysis and visualization,or strategic insight generation.
- Site Analytics experience (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or similar measurement platform)
- Experience with visualizing data within online platforms (e.g., Datorama, Tableau, Upper Quadrant) and/or the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to apply innovative thinking to solve complex client marketing challenges
- Strong ability to create and build relationships – both internally and with clients
- Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to contribute to fast-paced, entrepreneurial, team-based environment
- Some knowledge of programming languages to aid in process automation or analysis preferred but not required (e.g. SQL, Google Scripts, Python)
- BA/BS degree required

Total Compensation:
- Base Salary: $85,000 - $106,300
- Target Annualized Discretionary Bonus: 10% ($8,500 - $10,600)
- Target Total Cash: $93,500 - $116,900
