Systems Analyst Intern- Summer 2023
Job Description:
A Systems Analyst Intern will be responsible for working with other Systems Analyst team members to capture and track business requirements through the software development process. Using the Agile Methodology requirements are captured as features and stories and introduced into the backlog. As the work is ingested into the workflow the Systems Analyst will represent the requirement ensuring that the output meets the expectation of the customer by working with the IT team and business personnel that are processing that work.
How you will make an impact:
Documentation of requirements in the following tools: Jira and Confluence.
Communicating and presenting requirements with internal and external customers.
Understanding existing systems and how to integrate new requirements into platforms.
Learning the Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodology.
Functions or examples of projects for this role:
Updating documentation or migrating data from old requirements system to new system
Creates and executes test cases and ensures feature testing effectively validates that the system meets the functional and non-functional requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
Ability to work 20 hours per week for the duration of internship
Rising junior or senior actively pursuing a degree in Information Technology or related field at an accredited university during internship
Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
This position is part of our GBD (Government Business Division) division, the applicant and incumbent fall under a `sensitive position’ work designation and may be subject to additional requirements beyond those associates outside Government Business Divisions. Requirements include but are not limited to more stringent and frequent background checks and/or government clearances, segregation of duties principles, role specific training, monitoring of daily job functions, and sensitive data handling instructions. Associates in these jobs must follow the specific policies, procedures, guidelines, etc. as stated by the Government Business Division in which they are employed.

Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.
