THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it
The Employee Relations Senior Specialist will help support FanDuel’s formal Employee Relations program, and serve as a resource on related policies, processes, and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in, knowledge of, and experience handling employee relations matters of moderate complexity, including, but not limited to, grievance and/or compliance investigations, preparation and delivery of related summary reports and recommendations, performance management and supporting members of the FanDuel People Team on how to handle various sensitive situations.
We are looking for a problem solver, and objective partner with unquestionable integrity who can ensure everyone in the organization is represented fairly, that we are operating consistently, and who helps in tracking and analyzing all matters to identify trends, prevent future issues, and influence a positive work environment.
THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play
- Support the employee relations program and related areas, ensuring fair and equitable treatment of all employees, consistent with FanDuel’s principles
- Under the guidance of the Employee Relations Director, conduct and support workplace investigations and resolve workplace conflicts; ensuring they are handled compliantly, sensitively and without prejudice. Ensure all investigations are efficiently and consistently conducted, documented and tracked
- Provide support around the Employee Relations case management system (HR Acuity), including, but not limited to, creating and maintaining job aids and standard operating procedures, providing technical assistance to users and making process improvement recommendations
- Proactively use data analytics and reporting to identify trends, provide insights and make recommendations as it relates to employee relations
- Maintain discretion, confidentiality and security for all employee and proprietary company information, while always operating in an unbiased, high integrity, respectful manner that builds trust at all levels and demonstrates a sensitivity for cultural differences
- Performs other duties as assigned
THE STATS
What we’re looking for in our next teammate
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in HR or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in an HR related field; with at least 1 year of relevant experience in an Employee Relations role or a position with related responsibilities
- Experience conducting, documenting and concluding sensitive workplace investigations preferred
- Ability to operate in a continuously changing and fast paced environment
- Detail oriented with the ability to maintain professional decorum
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortability with using data and deriving insights
- Effective project and time management skills, ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple complex projects concurrently to meet deadlines
- Experience with case management technology preferred

The applicable salary range for this position is $86,000 - $113,400 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
