  • 1-2 years of experience in a collection function or customer facing role.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and French.
  • Knowledge of the finance industry
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate compassion and empathy for our customers by understanding their situations, needs, and offering solutions.
  • Perform outbound calls to collect overdue invoice balances.
  • Send email reminders and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Submit invoices to clients' portals, such as Coupa, SAP, Ariba, Catalyst (for major clients).
  • Apply wire payments received in the bank to Netsuite invoices. Reconcile the bank to Netsuite.
  • Run dunning processes in Netsuite.
  • Manually modify payment terms and invoices in Netsuite.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on matters ranging from contract terms to software suspension.
  • Professionally negotiate with customers and explore payment sources to determine the best possible arrangement.
  • Issue dunning letters.
  • Gather bad debt documentation and process write-offs.
  • Refer accounts to a collection agency once all internal collection efforts have been exhausted.
