Responsibilities
  • Spend at least 50% of work hours working directly with the local campus to build interest in Universal Technical Institute and its programs.
  • Develop, organize, and execute innovative strategies covering a territory and building sustainable relationships.
  • Develop new relationships and strengthen existing partnerships with dealerships and designated industry partners.
  • Conduct and coordinate open house events, STEM events, Future Tech Events, and industry employment events using campus staff, high school counselors, and marketing support.
  • Use industry events at high schools and campuses to build awareness of Universal Technical Institute and its educational alternative.
  • Participate in campus admissions-related events and activities.
  • Conduct campus tours and host special events.
  • Attend college and high school fairs and network with industry employers.
  • Conduct educator and counselor seminars and administer financial aid workshops.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with high schools, counselors, principals, and other administrative officials within the local territory.
  • Present to educators at all levels in high schools and other educational institutions to encourage students to attend Universal Technical Institute.
  • Conduct informative and professional in-home interviews using technical knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain the customer relationship manager database to support thorough follow-up with prospective students.
  • Maintain knowledge of Universal Technical Institute programs, financing options, and other pertinent information to answer prospective student questions during presentations.
  • Address concerns so prospects receive complete information about Universal Technical Institute and understand their career opportunities.
  • Follow company policy for tracking key business statistics and accurately record travel, visits, and inquiries.
  • Identify prospective students whose skills, interest, motivation, and other qualities indicate that Universal Technical Institute may be a good fit.
  • Help interested prospective students enroll while avoiding enrollment efforts for individuals for whom the institution is not a good fit.
  • Adhere to compliance criteria and procedures established by external regulatory bodies and Universal Technical Institute.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
