Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred)
  • Ideally 5+ years of experience leading an engineering team
  • Project management experience
  • Product and/or installation requirements from relevant codes and standards (IEEE, ANSI, UL, National Electrical Code)
  • Strong technical capability, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Time management/prioritization skills that enable you to lead multiple tasks/projects at the same time.
  • Knowledge and understanding of electrical assemblies with a focus on applications, sales, and support.
  • Ability to identify product and/or installation requirements from relevant codes and standards
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of mechanical and electrical engineers and designers supporting the ERICO, ERIFLEX, and ILSCO product lines.
  • Establish annual performance objectives, handle and lead mid-year and annual reviews, create individual development plans, and provide and support growth opportunities for the team. Hire, onboard, and train new engineers and designers.
  • Establish metrics and communicate KPIs to the organization.
  • Lead the Technical Support function for the ERICO, ERIFLEX, and ILSCO brands for North America and Latin America.
  • Assist in the proper selection and application of ERICO, ERIFLEX, and ILSCO products.
  • Visit customer sites to promote the proper use of nVent ERICO, ERIFLEX and ILSCO products and assist with voice of customer (VoC) activities.
