About the Job:
As Squint’s Business Operations Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s core operational functions. Our first major project is to build repeatable top-of-funnel process for our GTM org, including events, digital lead gen, and optimizing our BDR process.
Medium-term, you will work closely with senior leadership and department heads to drive strategic projects, increase business efficiency, and improve departmental collaboration. You will play a pivotal role in improving business performance, increasing profitability, and positioning the company for sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution
Lead the planning, development, and execution of key operational strategies across departments.
Partner with leadership to align operational goals with broader company objectives.
Drive data-driven decision-making to optimize business processes and ensure operational efficiency.
Breakpoint Analysis & Process Optimization
Continuously assess and refine business processes, workflows, and systems to eliminate inefficiencies.
Implement and manage process improvement initiatives across operations.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies where appropriate.
Cross-Functional Project Management & Collaboration
Work closely with teams across the organization (e.g., Product, Eng, Marketing Sales, & Delivery) to ensure alignment and the seamless execution of business initiatives.
Facilitate interdepartmental communication to resolve operational challenges and achieve company-wide objectives.
Lead complex, cross-functional projects to enhance operational efficiency, scale processes, and achieve strategic goals.
Own the full project lifecycle—from ideation and planning to execution and monitoring.
Manage timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and risks.
Prepare reports and presentations for leadership, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Develop dashboards and KPIs for tracking operational performance and effectiveness.
Change Management
Lead organizational change initiatives aimed at enhancing business operations and adopting new technologies or processes.
Provide training and support to teams during transitions to ensure smooth adoption of new systems, processes, or tools.
Qualifications:
Skills
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
Strong proficiency in data analysis – ability to work in excel and various business systems (incl. SFDC, Clay, and BI tools).
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and influence matrixed relationships.
Exceptional project management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading complex initiatives. Strong understanding of sprint planning and agile methodologies.
