- Masters Degree and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker license (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor license (LCPC)
- 1-2 years of Managed Care/Clinical Review experience
- 3-5 years of clinical experience
- Comfortable navigating multiple systems including Outlook, Instant Messenger, and Email
- Ability to work in a telephonic inbound environment
- Location: Eagan Minnesota
- Position is Temporary-to-Permanent
- Hours are 8am to 5pm
- Strong organization, time management and communication skills
- Knowledge of utilization management procedures, mental health and substance abuse community resources and providers
- Knowledge and experience in inpatient setting
- Knowledge of DSM V or most current diagnostic edition
- Ability to analyze utilization problems and plan and implement solutions that influence quality of care
- Team size and structure: 55 people on the team divided into 3 clusters
- Training will be web-based and 2-3 weeks long
- Must be comfortable with handling about 25 calls per day
- This role involves inbound telephonic work with majority calls from providers and some from members and families
- This is a high priority to fill position
- Manage about 25 inbound telephonic calls per day
- Handle calls primarily from providers, with the remainder from members and their families
- Navigate through multiple systems and use Outlook, Instant Messenger, and Email to communicate
- Participate in inbound telephonic care management and clinical review activities
- Collaborate with a team of 55 across 3 clusters
- Support utilization management processes and contribute to maintaining quality of care
