Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience in business functional areas and IT infrastructure
  • Strong professional writing and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed legal contracts, identifying areas impacting IT or information security
  • Thorough knowledge of information security concepts and capabilities, including network security, encryption technologies, physical security, mobile computing administration, and remote access
  • Understanding of data center operations, virtual servers, and data/application hosting
  • Knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery concepts, including SLAs, RPOs, and RTOs
  • Moderate to detailed understanding of regulations such as HIPAA, HITECH, GLBA, PCI, and EU Data Privacy, and their impact on IT
  • Advanced knowledge of specific IT security controls and infrastructure used by RHI IT, such as Symantec, mail systems, server and laptop backups, remote access, encryption, and authentication services
  • Ability to organize meetings, lead discussions, and present effectively to senior management
  • Strong people and project management skills to generate buy-in and coordinate activities of diverse teams from various parts of RHI IT and Protiviti
  • Proactive individual with exceptional communication skills and the ability to navigate complex information security landscapes, ensuring both customer satisfaction and compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities
  • Act as an intermediary between RHI IT, Protiviti customers, and Protiviti management, ensuring effective communication and understanding of IT security capabilities
  • Professionally address and negotiate IT security requirements with customers, explaining why certain security measures may be unnecessary or impractical given the services provided by Protiviti
  • Advise Protiviti management and engagement teams on modifying IT-related processes and procedures to ensure compliance with customer contracts, laws, and regulations
  • Apply extensive IT knowledge to resolve complex information security issues creatively and effectively
  • Adapt application and process solutions to meet both customer requirements and Protiviti business needs
  • Collaborate with all IT teams supporting Protiviti and work closely with Protiviti and RHI legal teams during contract negotiations
  • Perform detailed analyses of customer contracts and RFP requirements, ensuring IT impacts are thoroughly understood and addressed
  • Respond promptly to customer information security questionnaires and drive their completion to rapid closure
  • Provide concise summaries of IT capabilities to support Protiviti sales efforts
  • Monitor and report on changing regulatory, customer, or Protiviti needs that impact IT, advocating for necessary IT policy, process, or infrastructure changes.
