Requirements
  • At least 7 years of investment banking experience with a proven track record leading mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to set a clear vision and execute with precision and urgency.
  • Analytical, disciplined, and results-driven approach.
  • Passion for developing junior talent and elevating team performance.
Responsibilities
  • Lead execution of mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions across industries and deal structures.
  • Coordinate deal teams and serve as the central point of accountability throughout each transaction.
  • Develop strategies and timelines to keep processes moving forward seamlessly.
  • Drive due diligence and manage cross-functional internal and external teams.
  • Oversee models and materials, including valuations, confidential information memoranda, pitchbooks, and management presentations.
  • Supervise and mentor associates and analysts, setting the tone for performance and growth.
  • Maintain client relationships through frequent interaction and trusted advisory support.
  • Support new business development through execution excellence and market insights.

Bridgepoint Investment Banking adds 25-year consumer sector veteran Ken Wasik as managing director

Bridgepoint Investment Banking has appointed Ken Wasik as Managing Director, Consumer, strengthening its consumer practice and New York presence. Wasik brings over 25 years of middle market investment banking experience, having previously held senior roles at UBS, Houlihan Lokey, Jefferies, Stephens Investment Bank and Capstone Partners, where he served as Co-Head of Investment Banking. Throughout his career, Wasik has executed consumer sector transactions worth over $10 billion, advising on deals across branded consumer goods, food and beverage, retail and e-commerce. His notable transactions include sales of brands such as Philosophy, Kate Spade, Viking Range and Bad Boy Mowers. Wasik will be based in Bridgepoint's New York office, expanding the firm's consumer origination and client coverage alongside its existing consumer team.
