Accounts Payable Associate

We are actively seeking an Accounts Payable Associate, a joyful and driven team member responsible for day-to-day AP entry and other accounting tasks for clients in our Enterprise division.

This position is available for individuals based in India seeking 40 hours of work per week, allowing you to balance other important parts of your life with an exciting, fulfilling career. So what are we looking for in an ideal candidate?

• Full-cycle AP management in a multi-client or multi-entity environment with US-based clients. College degree required. Accounting firm experience is a strong plus along with R2R experience.
• A proficiency in cloud AP processing technologies with at least 2 years of high-volume AP duties using software such as Bill, Ramp and QBO.
• Adherence to US GAAP.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret large data into meaningful interpretation of financial reports.
• Ability to manage deadlines across multiple clients with an awareness of what needs to be prioritized
• Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members across digital channels and an innate desire to build relationships
• Humility and openness to coaching and critiques; always seeking to improve
• Keen attention to detail and obsession with making sure there is accuracy, integrity, and dependability in their work 
• Joy and a positive attitude in all communications internally and externally
• Persistence and an ability to politely remind others to stay on track

What does the day to day look like for this role?

• Working with more senior staff, you’ll handle much of the day-to-day AP operations for our multi-entity clients
• Your daily tasks will be cleanly organized in Karbon, our practice management system, a critical tool that will set you up for success managing work across multiple clients 
• While you won’t be responsible for managing client relationships, you’ll interact with clients from time to time, answering specific questions or politely seeking certain information 
• As you work, you’ll always stop to ask questions of your team when you aren’t exactly sure what needs to be done - whether inside a client’s books or another client system

This is a full-time position employed by our India-based entity. Shift times of 9am - 6pm Eastern or 9am - 6pm Pacific time are available.
