Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate a wide variety of construction projects.
  • Oversee an entire project or just part of one.
  • Schedule and coordinate all construction processes, including the selection, hiring, and oversight of specialty trade contractors and labor.
  • Coordinate and supervise the construction process through final construction, making sure that the project gets done on time and within budget.
  • Assist with the selection and coordinate trade contractors to complete specific pieces of the project.
  • Direct and monitor the progress of construction activities.
  • Oversee the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment; worker productivity and safety; and the quality of construction.
  • Responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses and, direct or monitor compliance with building and safety codes, other regulations, and requirements.
  • Supervise on-site work to ensure the work is performed safely and efficiently.
  • Enforce the site specific safety plan and perform periodic safety inspections and walkthroughs as required.
  • Assist the project manager with ordering all required materials and interact with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Inspect the work of each trade and confirm that not only the quality of the work is up to standard, but that the work is being built in accordance with the plans and specifications.
  • Prepare daily progress reports for work performed.
  • Maintain and enforce safety regulations and building code requirements.
  • Organize and run weekly safety meetings with in-house trade staff and subcontractors.
  • Organize and run weekly progress meeting with staff and Owner’s staff.
  • Coordinate the installation of work with Quality Control Plan requirements.
  • Develop and execute detailed work plans for future scheduled work.
  • Travel and work on jobsites located within the United States and its territories.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Government contracting a plus.
  • Experience with welding and/or fitting carbon steel and stainless steel pipe.
