What does it mean to be an Inside Sales Specialist at GLS?
As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will be a key resource for creating and maintaining professional and profitable relationships with dealer customers within a larger assigned territory, targeted at 20-25% more territory. In addition, you will be responsible for capturing deals that meet the company’s risk and profitability guidelines.
How will you drive value within the organization as an Inside Sales Specialist?
- Develop and maintain positive business relationships with dealers through daily conversations and provide exceptional customer service
- Communicate timely and effectively while responding to all credit processing questions and inquiries
- Work with the dealer representative to provide a deal structure ensuring optimal success with our program turning more applications into contracts
- Establish and track monthly purchase objectives for assigned dealers
- Assist the Funding team with the resolution of documentation issues
What should you already know to be successful as an Inside Sales Specialist?
- Internal candidates at the Coordinator (C3) level with commensurate GLS experience and a track record of sustained, top performance against company standards may be considered
- Must have professional and persuasive communication and negotiation skills with the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
- Consultative selling skills, executing the sales process, and delivering the best solutions to needs
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of the internet and standard business applications such as Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn new computer applications as required
- Ability to take initiative, identify needs, make recommendations for improvement, see recommendations through implementation, and evaluate improvements for effectiveness
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
