Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Technical understanding and knowledge of buyside workflows in the front office, with a specific focus of at least 2 of the following: fixed income, equities, listed derivatives, crypto
- Thorough and hands-on knowledge and experience of order and execution management workflows and functionality
- Understanding of financial markets products, electronic trading process, regulation, risk, operations, and associated front office order execution and order flow requirements
- Strong network of relevant contacts within the buyside community
- Highly proficient communication skills, both written and oral
- Foreign languages an asset
- Ability to positively engage with and contribute to the wider global team
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and/or weekends to accommodate client deadlines and time-zone differences
- Ability and willingness to provide leadership to more junior members of a team
- Proficient with tools such as Salesforce, JIRA, Confluence
Responsibilities
- Build a relationship with clients and understand their business strategies across all asset classes
- Perform visits, phone calls, and updates to ensure client satisfaction and expectations are managed
- Identify revenue opportunities and upselling possibilities to existing clients
- Identify risks and provide feedback internally
- Assist in marketing campaigns and client entertainment events
- Provide point of escalation for ongoing support issues
- Initiate and lead project kick-off with new clients and transfer knowledge from sales process
- Define and document complex workflows and requirements for implementation
- Provide ongoing management of client expectations and user training
- Setup and configure client UAT and liaise with brokers, dealers, and venues for client access
- Manage complex implementation projects and resolve dependencies quickly
- Create and maintain client workflow documentation and manage project lifecycle
- Log all time spent in FinancialForce
- Create statements of work defining proposed solutions
- Review and test new client workflow before handing over SOWs to clients
- Provide high-level business updates to internal stakeholders
- Facilitate client entertainment and networking events
