Requirements
  • Process payroll for US and International employees by working with our HR department and managers around the company
  • Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing and accounting systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices
  • Ensures accuracy of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates
  • Prepare payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll-related accounts, including but not limited to benefits reconciliations
  • Review and process employee reimbursable expenses
  • Assist with implementation on the new payroll software
  • Assist with 401k audit and contribute to annual audit requests
  • Other duties as assigned by the Controller
  • 2 - 4 years of payroll experience
  • Associates degree in Accounting
  • Proficient with payroll software
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, lookup functions, sum if formulas) in order to analyze and reconcile large sets of data
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Confidentiality and integrity
