Cedar is seeking a Product Manager to lead our Payments product engineering team. This team operates at the center of the Cedar product suite. Your team develops, maintains, and expands the Cedar payment technology stack which includes complex integrations with the payment processing ecosystem, core payments infrastructure, and technical interfaces with Cedar’s entire application space.
In addition to being accountable for product development, this position is responsible for driving multiple threads with Cedar’s clients, senior leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, and strategic vendor partners. Payments technology is core to Cedar’s suite of products, and this role demands a Product Manager who is comfortable wearing many hats. This is an excellent growth opportunity for a driven Product Manager looking for an opportunity to rapidly develop the skills necessary to advance their career.

Responsibilities
- Lead product strategy through direct client engagement, independent domain research, and executive stakeholder engagement
- Develop and lead execution on a roadmap for the product development team (engineering, design, data science) which aligns with our overarching product strategy
- Define measurement strategies for your team, your product, and product launches and partner with data science to implement and draw out insights
- Coordinate relationships and execution with payment processors and other vendors to determine what products/services will best serve our needs
- Define go-to-market strategy for releases within your product area and partner with sales, account management, marketing, and product operations to ensure flawless delivery and full value for customers
- Develop and share thought leadership around your product domain
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of product management experience
- Experience building successful products through technology partnerships
- Strong interpersonal and project management skills
- Effective communicator
- Experience with backend-heavy product management
- Strong analytical and data-driven approach
Bonus Qualifications
- Prior experience in the payments technology industry
- Prior experience working with databases and SQL
- A knack for “figuring-it-out” no matter how tough or ambiguous the problem is
- Prior experience at growth-stage software companies
- Interest and/or prior experience in the healthcare space, specifically within the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) space
Compensation Range and Benefits
- Salary Range*: $144,500 - $170,000
- This role is equity eligible
