Requirements
  • An Active or Current DoD Secret Clearance
  • US Citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree
  • An associate's degree and 2 years of additional experience or a High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional experience will be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years of experience
  • Demonstrated strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills
  • Familiarity supporting the Naval Systems Command
  • Ability to facilitate and coordinate efforts with key government and non-government stakeholders
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work well within a time sensitive environment
  • MS Microsoft skills are essential, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work both in a team environment and independently, and often under short, multiple deadlines
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Responsibilities
  • Monitor Electronic Departure From Specifications (eDFS) for workflow progress for boats approaching end of PSA for all active major departures
  • Coordinate with Technical Point of Contact to determine routing and obtain commitment number
  • Route for comment/concurrence/approval
  • Retain Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) and close commitment
  • Support VIRGINIA Class Aircraft Carrier Life Cycle Sustainment Certification IAW SOP31 under close supervision of 450FE1 which includes tracking and assembling all OQE into certification binders as well as inspecting validity of all OQE
  • Fill in for and assist FE11K as needed
  • Potential cover for FE1 when on leave/out of office
  • Must have Adobe Acrobat Pro skills to assemble/route packages
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in DoD or DoN environments
  • Experience providing support for Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA)
  • Experience in leading and engaging in weekly meeting with the ship builder and supplier regarding actions and statuses
  • Work experience in the Navy and specifically within Team Submarine or on board submarines
