Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Design activities including research, definition, design, simulation, physical implementation, chip top verification, and release to production of integrated circuits for Audio products
Supporting product definition teams to develop product requirements and specifications
Analyzing and developing chip, block and filter architectures to meet required compliance and performance
Authoring system architecture and circuit documentation
Perform RTL design of block level modules
Simulate at the block level and SoC level to guarantee design objective specification functionality and timing
Supporting the verification team in achieving their verification goals
Simulate and debug gate level timing simulations at SoC level
Defining block level test plans
Characterizing and validating circuit performance in the lab
Providing support for high volume manufacturing and working with Product and Test teams to transfer ICs to production
BSc, BSEE, MSc or MSEE + any relevant experience in Semiconductor industry doing digital standard cell based IC design using Verilog, synthesis tools, timing analysis and physical verification tools
Solid knowledge of analog and mixed-signal IC design fundamentals
Verilog, System Verilog, RTL, Digital Design
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with Cadence and Synopsys design tools
C and Assembly code experience
Strong background in micro-processor architecture and design
Familiarity with C++ or any object orientated programming language
Familiarity with Matlab and Simulink
Familiarity with System Verilog for verification, OVM/UVM, assertions, cover points
Exposure to physical design and timing closure
Exposure with Signal Processing concepts such as Digital Filters, Interpolation/Decimation and Delta-Sigma Converters
