Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a comprehensive product strategy in partnership with the Business Unit GM, including long-term goals, market positioning, and growth opportunities.
  • Market Research: Continuously monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and threats. Conduct market research and analysis to inform product decisions.
  • Roadmap Creation: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the vision and key milestones for the product's development and evolution.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment and effective execution of the product strategy.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on the product's progress and soliciting feedback.
  • Prioritization: Define and prioritize features and initiatives, taking into account customer feedback, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Translation:Work with the senior leader to translate future vision and requirements into clearly broken down epics and stories. Ensure that all team members understand and align with the product's goals.
  • User Story Development: Break down high-level product requirements into detailed user stories that can be understood and implemented by the development team. Ensure these stories are ready for implementation and meet strong agile/SAFE standards.
  • Sprint Planning: Participate in sprint planning meetings to select user stories and tasks for the upcoming sprint. Work with the team to ensure they have a clear understanding of the work to be done.
  • Product Development: Work closely with Engineering to guide product development, from concept to launch. Define requirements and ensure user stories and other agile activities align with your goals and objectives for the product.
  • Product Launch: Plan and execute product launches in tight collaboration with Product Marketing. This will include influencing marketing strategies, sales enablement, and customer training.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the product's success, including Quality Assurance, and track its performance over time. Make data-driven decisions based on these metrics and roll them up to higher level leaders for awareness.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life, including updates, enhancements, and retirements.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the product budget with your GM, including resource allocation and cost control.
  • Customer Feedback Integration: Collect and analyze customer feedback to enhance the product and address issues or areas for improvement.

Fortive reports Q4 2025 results with 3% core revenue growth, deploys $1.6B in share buybacks

Fortive has reported fourth quarter 2025 results with revenue of $1.12 billion, up 4.6% year-over-year, and 3.3% core revenue growth. Adjusted EBITDA rose 7.8% to $358 million, whilst adjusted diluted earnings per share increased 12.5% to $0.90, exceeding full-year guidance. For the full year 2025, Fortive posted revenue of $4.16 billion, up 1.9%, with adjusted EBITDA of $1.23 billion. The company deployed $1.6 billion towards share repurchases during the year, including $265 million in the fourth quarter alone. CEO Olumide Soroye said the results demonstrate solid execution of the company's Fortive Accelerated strategy. The company has initiated 2026 guidance of $2.90 to $3.00 adjusted earnings per share. Fortive completed separation of its Precision Technologies segment in June 2025.
