The award-winning, industry-leading Forbes Content & Design Studio is seeking a Research Analyst to assist in designing research, interpreting data, formulating reports and other tasks focused on executive thought leadership and data-powered content programs.
The Research Analyst will have the opportunity to work across all phases of the research process, including survey writing and sample planning, survey fieldwork, analysis and publication. This role offers opportunity for innovative autonomous work, as well as the benefits of collaborating with a dynamic team.
The Research Analyst will be involved in numerous primary research projects to gather insights to support data-driven storytelling for clients and inform the Forbes point of view.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supporting original research (e.g. suggesting research themes and hypotheses and writing surveys).
- Reviewing survey content and ensuring quality of survey programming.
- Monitoring data acquisition and producing field reports.
- Preparing data reports from survey platforms.
- Analyzing survey data and building presentations based on results.
- Collaborating with writers/editors to tell compelling stories with data.
- Elevating storytelling with creative data visualization suggestions.
- Fact-checking research and content.
- Conducting additional data analyses using traditional and advanced methods.
- Developing innovative, sponsorable research opportunities to generate impactful thought leadership programs for clients.
- Collaborating to develop new research products and offerings for internal and external clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong analytic and critical thinking skills.
- 2-5+ years of relevant research experience.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at once.
- Data visualization experience.
- Expertise with Excel, PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with survey platforms like Qualtrics or Survey Monkey.
- Interest in emerging business and technology trends.
- Bachelor’s degree.
The annual salary range for this role is $55,000 to $73,500
