Job Description

Construction documents like drawings, specifications, and 3D models are central to every phase of the construction process. They are the basis around which almost all collaboration happens on a construction project, and that’s why we’re looking for a Product Manager, Documents to help us drive the roadmap for rapid and efficient document collaboration in Procore.

In this role, you’ll own the experiences related to how our users quickly find, view, discuss, markup, link, and share any kind of document during any phase of the construction process and on any device. If you have proven experience re-envisioning complex, enterprise SaaS experiences, we’d like to hear from you!

This position has the opportunity to work from our Austin, TX office. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

What you’ll do:

• Influence a direct team of engineers and designers as well as numerous dependent teams across the organization to follow your vision
• Identify and write product requirements by considering outcome potential, competitive landscape, technical requirements, and user experience
• Become well-versed in the construction industry and its diverse challenges to guide and communicate the value you’re creating for our customers
• Balance customer empathy with horizontal solution thinking—recognize platform approaches that solve multiple problems at once, creating strategic leverage for Procore
• Effectively use qualitative and quantitative data analysis to help inform the decision-making process
• Think beyond software for the whole solution by collaborating closely with customers and go-to-market teams

What we’re looking for:

• 4+ years of Product Management experience at an enterprise SaaS software company
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, UX Design, or a related field is preferred
• Experience managing products and rollouts with complex dependencies across multiple autonomous product teams
• Experience releasing product updates and successfully driving their adoption 
• Experience collaborating with and influencing cross-functional teams in an agile software development environment
• Ability to effectively communicate trade-offs for decisions through strong written and verbal skills
• Strong analysis and synthesis skills, demonstrating the ability to break down problems into components structured into platform-first solutions
• Strong listening skills; Product Management is equally about inquiring as it is advocating
