Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
  • The candidate must have 3-5+ years of progressive ERP implementation or administration experience.
  • The candidate must have hands-on experience leading or supporting full-cycle ERP implementations, rather than only end-user experience.
  • The candidate must have a strong foundation in generally accepted accounting principles, month-end close, and financial reporting.
  • The candidate must be able to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously and reprioritize as needed.
  • The candidate must have written and verbal communication skills sufficient to translate technical system decisions into plain language for non-technical founders and finance teams.
  • The candidate must be self-directed and proactive, and comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving startup environments.
  • The candidate must be prepared to support clients in SaaS, fintech, biotech, and other high-growth industries.
  • The candidate must have hands-on experience with NetSuite and/or Rillet.
  • The candidate must have experience with core ERP modules such as general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, multi-book accounting, and advanced revenue management, or equivalent modules across platforms.
  • The candidate must be familiar with workflow automation, scripting, or integration tooling native to their platform expertise.
  • The candidate must have experience integrating ERP systems with SaaS billing, payroll, customer relationship management, or expense tools.
  • The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reconciliation.
  • The candidate must be detail-oriented and able to understand how system design decisions affect client financial reporting and investor readiness.
Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end ERP implementations for clients, including chart of accounts design, module configuration, workflow automation, and user acceptance testing.
  • Document implementation decisions and maintain project trackers throughout each engagement.
  • Evaluate existing ERP environments and identify gaps, inefficiencies, or misconfigurations.
  • Recommend and execute improvements to reporting structures, dashboards, and custom workflows to align systems with each client's business model.
  • Deliver training sessions, create user documentation, and proactively surface system improvements aligned with client growth milestones.
  • Support the monthly close process within client ERP systems, including journal entries, reconciliations, revenue recognition under ASC 606, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure ERP systems accurately reflect clients' accounting policies and audit requirements.
  • Manage data migrations from legacy systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, and spreadsheets into modern ERP platforms.
  • Collaborate with technology and product teams to scope and oversee third-party integrations using native automation tools or integration-platform-as-a-service solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial workflows through automation and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Stay current with platform releases, best practices, and the evolving startup finance technology stack.
Desired Qualifications
  • ERP Administrator or Consultant certification is preferred, including NetSuite, Rillet, or an equivalent certification.
  • A Certified Management Accountant designation is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with other modern ERP or accounting platforms is a plus.
