Everything that you do will be designed around how best to convert new business whilst delivering campaigns, events and experiences that are in keeping with the VML brand and building relationships with our partners which excite and delight our current and prospective clients.
You will need to forge strong relationships with external partners, clients and within the wider VML and WPP communities, as well as within our own immediate stakeholder group. To do this you will need to build your own brand and not be afraid to ‘get in front of’ senior people. You will regularly need their support and need to be able to command their attention. This will require ‘visibility’ in the UK office and within the organization as a whole.

- Managing internal stakeholders to ensure that they are fully engaged and provide their expertise and input when needed
- Working with our CRM team to manage all aspects of the delegate experience from invitation to post event communications, ensuring that no lead is lost in the process
- Managing our sponsorship and presence at certain partner and industry events eg. OMR, ShopTalk, Adobe Summit, Dreamforce etc.
- Supporting and helping our colleagues across the world to replicate events & campaigns in their regions
- Working with our Social Media Manager to amplify these events; taking great photos, drafting engaging copy
- Building relationships with third party event organisers to drive success
Content and campaigns
Partner co-marketing also requires great content. We bring this to life at our events and use it to drive awareness and funnel progression. You should feel comfortable with:
- Writing simple campaign copy that will generate interest and clicks
- Proofreading and ensuring that everything that goes out in the VML name is something we would be proud of
- Briefing in and project managing the creation of thought leadership and longer articles
- Building campaigns that get our content noticed
- Briefing in and project managing the creation of other content types, such as video, webinars, podcasts etc.
- Bringing new ideas to the table to keep our content fresh and memorable
- Strategically considering how best to make the most of all content
- How can we repurpose our own content as a partner piece?
- How can we take content and bring it to life at an event?
- How can we use an event to generate content?
