  • Proven experience as receiving associate or similar position
  • Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Basic math and recording abilities

  • Ability to stand all day, bend, and kneel
  • Occasionally and/or frequently unload shipments with merchandise up to 75lbs
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Google Suite experience is required
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Maintain professionalism in all forms of communication
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role with administrative duties
  • Able to meet the physical requirements of the position
  • Minimum one year of warehouse or similar distribution-type experience
  • Meet or exceed department productivity standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under time constraints
  • Ability to maintain accuracy, safety, and focus while performing work
  • Willingness to grow and learn within the organization
  • Professional, self-motivated, and organized with attention to detail
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries
  • Packing/Repacking
  • Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
  • Unload packages from incoming trucks
  • Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
  • Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price, etc.)
  • Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements
  • Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
  • Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries
  • Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
  • Respond to emails in a professional manner with internal and external customers
  • Other duties as assigned
