The Role
Due to our continuous growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Passive Fire Systems Inspector. This role suits an individual who is enthusiastic about contributing to the success of our business. This role will be a key role in the inspection of Building Fire Integrity & Means of Egress compliance, working under guidance of the Melbourne Operations Manager, with responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Conduct Passive Essential Safety Measure Audits
- Conduct Egress & Paths of Travel Inspections
- Conduct Fire and Exit Doors Inspections

About You
The successful applicant will need to have a current Victorian drivers license and demonstrate an excellent understating of, or willingness to learn about, various types of systems such building fire integrity and means of egress compliance across commercial, industrial and residential properties. Successful applicant will be provided with:
Your Education, Experience and Skills
- Tertiary qualification in Building Surveying & Inspection
- A solid understanding of Building Regulations & National Construction Code
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Successful applicant required to undertake Police & Working with children check
- Current drivers license
To excel in this role, the selected candidate will need to have:
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation
- Strong operational and safety skills.
- Effective communicator at all levels.
- Prior experience in Fire Industry preferable but not essential
