Requirements
  • A university degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Civil Roads, Canals and Ports Engineering, or an equivalent qualification is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar positions managing the production of large-scale building projects is required.
  • Deep knowledge of current building, occupational health, and safety regulations is required.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, solve problems, and make decisions is required.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera and design software such as AutoCAD is required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines is required.
  • Residence in Vigo or availability to relocate to the area is required.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and control daily production activities on site, ensuring compliance with the schedule, budget, and technical specifications.
  • Supervise and coordinate work teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety and quality regulations.
  • Monitor and control costs, identify variances, and propose corrective actions.
  • Prepare and manage technical and administrative project documentation, including progress reports, quality control records, and incident management.
  • Maintain fluent and effective communication with site management, the client, and other project stakeholders.
  • Implement and oversee compliance with occupational health and safety policies.
  • Actively participate in resolving technical and management problems arising during construction execution.
