JOB SUMMARY
Under direct supervision, assists clinical research team and staff checking in research participants, collecting, processing & shipping bio-specimens, conducting physical measurements e.g., height & weight, taking & recordingvital signs, stocking & maintainingexamrooms, performing data entry, and assisting participants with completion of online forms, as necessary.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets and escorts participants to clinical research unit. Obtains initial information, vital signs & physical measurements; required to be able to draw blood, collect urine and/or sputum.
Provides instruction, guidance and/or assistance to participants completing research online questionnaires.
Prepares and organizes room for next participant; inspects rooms for cleanliness and equipment condition; stocks and maintains rooms with adequate supplies. Cleans and or disinfects surfaces and equipment in rooms between participants.
Schedules participant appointments as needed.
Enters research data into software application.
Adheres to research study protocol guidelines and requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Level I
High school diploma or equivalent
One year of applicable patient care experience
Completion of Phlebotomy program or one year of phlebotomy experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Level II
High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred AND/OR at least 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant
Completion of Phlebotomy program or one year of phlebotomy experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Level III
High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program AND 3 years of experience with Certification or Registration (RMA or CMA) OR 5 years of experience (certification, registration & diploma requirement waived)
Completion of Phlebotomy program or one year of phlebotomy experience
This position is being funded by the All of Us grant, therefore continuation in this position is contingent upon funding availability.
