  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in a related field and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least three (3) years' work experience in training, coordination, and communications in a science, or engineering based environment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills are required for working and negotiating with customers, international partners, and peers.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
  • Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Proficient at using the Microsoft Suite of tools.
  • US Citizenship with ability to attain/maintain government security clearance.
  • Ability to travel (domestically/internationally) approximately +/-10%.
Responsibilities
  • Assess Ground Systems ECRs for multi-program user training impacts.
  • Coordinate with ISS and SLS users and/or console positions in new training development.
  • Create new Ground Systems training materials for multiple programs that include ISS and SLS.
  • Update Ground Systems training materials.
  • Review ECRs on behalf of Ground Systems Training.
  • Participate in user demos and meetings to collect training feedback and incorporate this feedback into training.
  • Collect user feedback from Payload Operations Integration Working Group [POIWG] semi-annual meeting and follow up with users for status.
  • Provide Ground Systems Training assessments and status updates in various MOSSI II meetings [HARs, BRRs, TARRs, BCIRs, etc.]
