Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience working and supervising work on construction sites.
  • Specific knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems (HVAC).
  • Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety standards and regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Ability to mediate and resolve conflicts between diverse stakeholders, often under stressful circumstances.
  • Ability to represent Ecosystem’s interests with all stakeholders and negotiate professionally.
  • This position requires daily presence at the client’s site and assignment to one project at a time.
Responsibilities
  • Establish a culture of excellence in Occupational Health and Safety and ensure teams on site follow OHS best practices.
  • Ensure the work proceeds smoothly and efficiently from day to day.
  • Ensure work progresses as planned, open and close the site, manage various trades, and supervise subcontractors.
  • Cultivate a collaborative environment, ensuring positive interactions between clients, building users, subcontractors, and operators.
  • Check quality of work and ensure conformity with plans and specifications.
  • Represent the project engineers when they are not on site and support them in related tasks.
