Associate, Test Process Development Engineer
Job Description:
• Support ADI product development sites in the USA
• Design, develop and implement automated final test processing solutions for new semiconductor devices and assemblies
• Work with Business Units electrical test engineers and test equipment manufacturers to develop equipment and hardware solutions to test new products
• Coordinate process development efforts with Test Process Engineering teams based in the US, Europe and Asia
• Implement process improvements to existing test automation solutions
Requirements:
• BS Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings (including GD&T)
• Familiar with manufacturing and fabrication techniques
• Strong Computer skills including experience with CAD, preferably Solidworks, and MS OFFICE
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Hands on experience in a workshop setting, including the use of tools and equipment for manufacturing, assembly and prototyping
Responsibilities:
• Work with internal Business Unit customers, Package Engineering and Test Engineering to define
and communicate new project needs and specifications
• Development of new automation solutions for semiconductor test including test handlers, contactors, manipulators, docking and automated inspection; with an emphasis on working with vendors to identify and implement standardized equipment solutions across the globe
• Self-directed management of project work
• Troubleshooting of quality/yield issues related to device handling, contacting or end of line device inspection processes
