  • 2-year minimum at a Sales Consultant role or higher.
  • Significant supplier management experience.
  • BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs of product.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all functional areas and organizational levels.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
  • Managing and developing a team of sales consultants in the Gallo division.
  • Making sound judgments daily, seeing underlying concepts and patterns in complex situations.
  • Creating and communicating vision throughout Division.
  • Inspiring commitment throughout Division to accomplish desired results.
  • Leading change throughout Division and inspiring a climate of experimentation.
  • Cultivating an environment for high achievement and personal development for team members.
  • Developing and empowering team members.
  • Establishing division wide accountability standards.
  • Leveraging differences to create a diversified team.
  • Constructing yearly business plans to include detail product forecasting and budget management.
  • Managing profitability of portfolio to meet plan goals.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory levels across all suppliers within portfolio.
  • Ensuring Division is on plan through continual monitoring.
  • Working with key suppliers to ensure mutually set goals are being met.
  • Constructing programs that are driving results while maintaining profit goals.
  • Creating division synergy around critical suppliers/programs to ensure success.
  • Understanding all Johnson Brothers systems that are related to pricing/profitability: Schedules, Net Files, BDF’s, and Supplier bill backs.
  • Fostering a good working relationship with all key suppliers.
  • Working closely with key suppliers to drive agreed upon programs and goals.
  • Managing portfolio priorities to ensure key suppliers have the correct exposure/focus.
  • Working with suppliers and supplier reps to create a winning atmosphere within Division.
